Thanks in advance for any suggestions to this non geek and truly appreciate this great site. I'll buy CS5 books when they become available. This should provide the detailed knowledge to work with the finer points. It's too early for CS5 Premiere Pro books so I'm looking for the best CS4 Premiere Pro book/s. Folks won't stick around waiting for a slow download of a bird preening. Mostly I want a very fast download load time even if quality suffers somewhat. I've searched this forum and the net for days, so appreciate your help or direction to threads. I get emailed small videos all the time that have instant opening and play even on an old computer, so speed shouldn't be an issue.īeen using CS5 for 2 weeks and learning this program really quickly, but I'm stumped here.

I'm shooting with a 7d using 1080P at 30fps. Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 is one of the best software options in the world of digital video editing. It seems more like a software problem than a lack of adaquate hardware, but I'm running a laptop with Windows 7 64-bit with a 2.0 GHz CPU and 8GB of RAM - I'm not sure how to find out what kind of video card I have. What are the suggested CS5 or CS4 Premiere Pro export settings to use for export to a web site? I'm sure CS4 will be the same. Resolution when exporting is 1280x720, and the max bitrate is 7.0mbps. I've got numerous music and voiceover files as well.

Before you download Adobe, you must deactivate the older Adobe account, then you can install it on the new computer. Master Copy Before exporting your work, it is important to first create a master copy of your project that is 'as is', in that it reflects the settings and codecs used in the original footage. Transferring Adobe to a new computer is simplified greatly by the ability to download the software from the official website directly to the new desktop or laptop. Not sure what that means, but the render arrows in the work area are never set to zero.Īdditionally, I've tried exporting different lengths of the project only to have the same results, with Media Encoder failing each time.Īny suggestions on how to fix the problem? How Do I Use Adobe Premiere To Upload YouTube Videos 1. Now move to the 6 th step and download the executable to an accessible location. Locate Adobe Premiere Pro and after right-clicking, select Uninstall. Press Windows + R, type appwiz.cpl in the dialogue box and press Enter. Other times I will get an error that says "encode failed because the source duration is nil". After you have selected the OS, follow the steps. There, I store them in a specific drive and folder tree. Note, this is on my laptop, NOT on my regular editing machine. the full location of the file currently open. The time estimated/time elapsed will freeze, and if I cancel the encoding the program freezes up. Whenver I've tried rendering/exporting to see what the final product looks like, Media Encoder will usually freeze up about halfway through encoding.

I've got 15-minute long movie edited in Premiere. Is there a way to do this with Premiere Pro or After Effects? Or would it be very complicated? Or not possible at all? The camera zooms in and out a few times, too, so would that pose a problem for correcting this? I played around with different things, but couldn't fix it. This probably appeared because of the low picture quality and zoom, but how can I fix it? When I do the general color correction, the spots just change color, but don't disappear. I've done some general color correcting and it looks okay, but there are a number of yellow spots on the subject and in the background, mainly on brownish surfaces (the speaker is African American). So, it's not the best quality video and I'm trying to make it look as nice as possible. The camera zoomed in a lot on the subject when he was talking. I have to color correct and edit a video that was shot during a seminar inside a conference room with an average digital camera. I have the CS4 version of pretty much all Adobe products.
